Karen has Parkinsons. A bad side effect for her is gastroparesis. In the course of one year she lost 40 lbs bringing her down to 7o lbs.  After a year of being tube fed on a pole she slowly regained her weight. Digestive issues and regular bowel movements are her biggest complaints. I made her a “Have a swell poop” sign to make her smile.
